Bar Saigon — formerly Saigon Baguette

The owner says the business changed its name to Bar Saigon in 2026. The address remains Gamla Brogatan 25, so older Saigon Baguette recommendations refer to this location.

Menu price example: The owner’s English bánh mì menu shows 119 SEK per listed sandwich. Check the current order price.

Opening times: Owner homepage: Monday–Saturday 11am–9pm; Sunday noon–5pm. Kitchen closes 30 minutes before the venue.

Viet Kitchen — Skrapan

Skrapan, ground floor, Götgatan 78, 118 30 Stockholm, Sweden

Use the Skrapan address given by the owner. Its bánh mì is presented as two freshly baked small baguettes, a different portion format from assuming one standard roll.

Consider ordering: Pork, chicken or the vegan-labelled tofu filling with pickled carrots, cucumber, coriander, fried onion and house sauce.

Menu price example: Owner menu shows 139 SEK for lunch and 145 SEK for dinner or weekends. The site defines lunch pricing as 10am–2pm.

Opening times: Owner website: Monday–Friday 10am–7pm; Saturday 11am–7pm. It lists selected-dish Sunday service during pay week only; confirm the date and bánh mì availability.

Delivery and collection: The owner describes drop-in service with no booking required. Ask about current takeaway or delivery choices rather than assuming a platform listing applies.

Vegetarian and vegan checks: Tofu is explicitly labelled vegan. Confirm the complete order and any extras, especially during limited Sunday service.

Plan your Stockholm bánh mì stop

Check the current business name and location

Older guides may call Gamla Brogatan 25 Saigon Baguette. The owner now calls it Bar Saigon and explains the 2026 change. The continuity of the address is useful when searching, but use the current owner menu before comparing dishes and prices.

Gamla Brogatan and Gamla Stan are different names. The city photograph shows Gamla Stan’s waterfront as an introduction to Stockholm; it does not place Bar Saigon in the old town. For Viet Kitchen, use the current Skrapan address and the ground-floor entrance information on the owner site.

Compare portion format and service time

Viet Kitchen describes its bánh mì as two small baguettes and publishes lunch versus dinner/weekend figures. Compare the whole order, not just one number. Prices in this guide are Swedish kronor, written SEK or kr, and are not converted to another currency.

Eatnam also lists Sankt Paulsgatan 2 on Södermalm and Birger Jarlsgatan 36 at Stureplan. Confirm the intended branch and its sandwich availability. At Viet Kitchen, Sunday is a special limited-service arrangement, not a normal weekly opening promise. At Bar Saigon, leave time before the published kitchen closing point.

Vegetarian, vegan and dietary choices

Eatnam defines its V symbol as vegan, and Viet Kitchen explicitly labels its tofu filling vegan. State any extras or modifications and confirm the complete sandwich rather than transferring a label from another dish.

Bar Saigon’s general description includes mayonnaise and sometimes pâté. Ask whether its tofu bánh mì can be prepared with suitable spreads and sauces. The word chay or tofu by itself does not settle every ingredient. If you avoid coriander or chilli, ask for the change before preparation.

How this guide was researched

The three main entries rely on owner menus and current branch information. Bar Saigon’s own 2026 name-change explanation takes precedence over older directory names. Viet Kitchen’s two-baguette format, two price periods and limited Sunday arrangement are retained. Eatnam’s additional branches are mentioned as alternatives, not counted as separate main entries.

Published sources were checked on 25 October 2026. Menus, hours and delivery arrangements can change; confirm directly before a special journey. The archive city photograph is illustrative and does not show the listed shops.
